2 Months Old

It's been a while since my last post and a lot has happened since then. I returned to work for the last two weeks of school and quit my job teaching fifth grade reading in order to stay home with Ansley next year. It's a decision that Jeff and I prayed about and did not take lightly, but in the end we know that it will be best for our family for me to be here with our little girl. I'm so thankful that we even have this option during this tough economic time and know that the Lord will provide everything we need. I took Ansley to the doctor yesterday for her two month checkup and shots. It wasn't as traumatic as I thought it would be...turns out we have a pretty tough little girl. So, she's now 14.5 pounds and 23.5 inches. You can see from the photos that she's a little chunk and is very healthy. She's now smiling, cooing, squealing, and giggling every once in a while. Those are the most precious times. I had to change the most disgusting diaper this morning and the whole time she was smiling at me! The toughest time with her is in the car as she hates her carseat. We're leaving for Seaside, Florida on Friday...it's going to be a really long drive. We're stopping in Mississippi for the night and will finally get to Florida on Saturday. I can't wait!!!
