I went to the doctor yesterday and am still progressing well. My due date is actually April 2, but my doctor said that if I haven't had her by Monday we will set a date to induce. He does not like for his patients to carry beyond their due date. So, we will definitely have Ansley Grace within the next few days. It was estimated last week that she weighed about 7 1/2 lbs.. Jeff and I are so excited and cannot wait to meet her!
Her room has been finished for several weeks now. It was a group effort with my brother and Jeff painting the room, Jeff's mom and me painting the flowers on the wall, and my dad building and setting up the crib. I've posted some photos so you can see how it looks.
Here are some of the ultrasound photos that were taken of Ansley in January. It was a gift from my mom and sister, and they and my grandmother joined me at the "viewing party." Ansley cooperated for a while, giving us a show by sticking out her tongue and opening her mouth. We all decided that she has Jeff's lips, nose, and brow bones. Will she resemble me at all???
I've been so impressed with the blogs of friends of mine that I decided it was finally time for me to join in the fun. Since Jeff and I are expecting our daughter any day now, I thought this would be a great way for family and friends to keep up with what's going on in the Heifrin household. Hopefully I'll be good about adding new stuff and updating, but we'll see how much time I actually have to do this. And, it's probably going to take me a little while to really get the hang of blogging since I'm not the most computer efficient person. Anyway, I hope this goes well and that you enjoy watching our family grow. I have no doubt that times are about to get really exciting. Jeff and I can't wait!
I'm the wife of my very best friend and the mother of the most precious baby girls. God has blessed me abundantly and I praise Him for everything good in my life.
